A Travellerspoint blog

Slow and steady.....

I hope it gets me somewhere!

sunny 25 °C

Wow, four months ago I posted my first, and only, entry to this blog. I cant believe its been that long!

Here's an update on my plans so far...

Yes, they're that solid!

But really here's what I've decided in these last four months.

1. Life's too short. (I'm off on Holiday this week. Not THE holiday but a holiday none the less!)
2. You can plan all you want. Something always happens to screw them up.
3. Dream big.

So where to from here?
I'm going to head off on holiday this week. Have a well deserved break from the stresses that are my life and come back ready to work my ass off for this trip.
Hopefully I will be able to work out a realistic budget and plan for what I want. But it sucks having to cut places out, so hopefully I'll win lotto and not have to snip my dreams into pieces! Realistically though...

Until next time, <3

Dream, Discover, Explore.

all seasons in one day 5 °C

Hi all, and welcome!

So, I've started this blog as a way to track my progress of planning my next big adventure, and maybe help you in planning your own.

It's going to be a slow start, so bare with me.

But to start this thing off here is one of my all time favorite quotes to share with you:

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ― H. Jackson Brown Jr

For me, this is such a brilliant, true, and inspiring quote! Hope it inspires you too!
